On My Wishlist #1

On My Wishlist is a fun weekly event hosted by Book Chick City and runs every Saturday. It's where we list all the books we desperately want but haven't actually bought yet.

My wishlist is extensive. It currently sits at about, oh, 725 books or so. So here are my top three for this week:
The Children's Hospital by Chris Adrian

A hospital is preserved, afloat, after the Earth is flooded beneath seven miles of water. Inside, assailed by mysterious forces, doctors and patients are left to remember the world they've lost and to imagine the one to come. At the center, a medical student named Jemma Claflin finds herself gifted with strange powers and at the beginning of a frightening destiny.

Yep it's the apocalypse again - with special powers!

Latitudes of Melt by Joan Clark

This bountiful, magical novel opens with the discovery by two fishermen of a baby floating in a cradle on an ice pan in the North Atlantic off the coast of Newfoundland in 1912. To the small fishing community into which the foundling is adopted, Aurora, as they name her – with her shock of white hair, one blue eye and one brown – is clearly enchanted. But it is not until Aurora is herself an old woman that she learns the heart-wrenching story behind her miraculous survival on the ice.

I've read some amazing reviews of this book, but it's proving pretty hard to track down!

After the Virus by Meghan Ciana Doidge

After the virus decimates 99.9% of the world’s population, and all traces of humanity along with it, Rhiannon and Will are forced to move beyond their past fame, fortune, and personal demons to rescue a mute girl from the clutches of two warring cults.

Yay another virus!

How much do I want to go and order them all now....argh!

So, what's on your wishlist this week?
