It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a meme hosted by Book Journey and is a great way for others to find out what you are planning to read this week and, best of all, see what others are reading.

I've decided to join in because I'm always so unorganised in my reading, and I've found that setting myself targets makes me work that bit harder to meet them.

So this week I am planning on reading:

The Wedding Gift by Kathleen McKenna

I started reading this one last night and I'm already nearly halfway through - the main character is such a ditz I'm finding it more funny than scary - so far!

This is the next review book in my queue, and it's come at just the right time, as I really feel the need for some short stories right now.
Say You're One of Them by Uwem Akpan

The next stop in my Around the World in 52 Books challenge!
ZombieDead by Ian Woodhead

Also in my review queue and will be my first zombie book in quite a while - looking forward to this one and I loved Ian's last book The Unwashed Dead.

The Power of One by Bryce Courtenay

I very much doubt I will finish it this week - it's a 21 hour audiobook and my commute is just over an hour a day - I'm about a third of the way through so I'll be aiming to finish this one next week

So what are you planning on reading this week??

  1. I'm reading Blood Promise, Spirit Bound and Last Sacrifice by Richelle Mead. :)

  2. I'm reading The Blood of Flowers and Endurance. Both count towards my Around the World Challenge. Endurance is doing double duty in that it counts for the Roughin' It theme.

  3. I am 4/5ths through Barth Anderson's Patron Saint of Plagues. I wanted to do some reviews of pandemic related apocalypse-in-progress or post apocalyptic novels. It is detailed enought, and long enought that it is taking a little while to get through (you have to think too much for it to be a page turner) but so far I have enjoyed. However, it is the type of novel where a lot is building toward the end, so how well that is accomplished will count for a lot.
