A New Look for The Aussie Zombie

Well, after toying with the idea for months, I've done a little redesign.

I was really attached to my dark, retro kinda feel, but I think it's time to lighten things up a bit to reflect all the varied books I'm reading nowadays.

After a few hours with a new bit of software, here's the final result!  There's still a few things to do until I'm completely 'at home' here, but so far I'm pretty chuffed with myself.  Remember, this is the girl who calls her boyfriend at 2am because 'the internet stopped working and I don't know how to fix it', or 'I pressed the wrong button on the remote, and now I can't get back to the satellite channel'.  Sad but true.

Most importantly, a big Thank You to Vicky from Sweet Dreams Design for giving me the inspiration to try and do the design for myself - if you're looking for a new design for your blog, she does amazing work!

  2. I love the new look Kat, but I miss the old one too. You made it yourself? That's awesome you should start designing them!

    1. Thanks Kimberly, I miss the old one too - but purple IS my colour ;-)

Yep, totally made by moi - don't think I'm quite at the designing stage but it was SO much fun to do! Would be a load of fun to do for someone else too - cost me less than a paperback book!

    2. I love the shades of purple you chose, they're so pretty and...soft? Does that make sense (if not then feel free to tell me I'm a weirdo) :D Less than a paperback book you say hmmmm I like the sound of that :)
