What What What (WWW) Wednesday - 7 March 2012

What What What Wednesday (WWW) is hosted by MizB at Should Be Reading. It's pretty simple - three questions:

What Are You Currently Reading?
What Did You Recently Finish Reading?
What Do You Think You'll Read Next?

What I'm Currently Reading

Angel Evolution (Evolution Trilogy #1) by David Estes

Published: 17 October 2011

Pages: 366 (ebook)

When Taylor meets Gabriel at college, she is in awe of the subtle glow that surrounds him. No one else, not even her best friend, seems to notice.

Something about him scares her.

Is all as it appears? While Taylor struggles for answers, she finds herself in the middle of a century old war centered on one miraculous revelation: evolution.

I've never read an angel book before, so I was super-excited to have the chance to read this one - and so far, I'm really enjoying it!

What I Recently Finished

Past Lives #1: Rachel by Stephanie Abbott

Published: 9 February 2012

Pages: 124 (paperback)

How many times can you die for love?

A near-fatal car crash unlocks memories from Rachel MacReady’s past life, dredging up secrets taken to the grave. And even as Rachel discovers the hidden power that is her birthright, she finds herself drawn to the reincarnates of two very different men. In that past life, both loved her. One might even have loved her to death...

Paranormal, fantasy, romance, time-travel, steam-punk - yep this book had a whole lot going on in it's 124 pages!  I liked this one as it had so many elements that were held together well.  Promises to be a really good series.

What I'm Reading Next

Expected Publication: 13 March 2012 by Macmillan Children's

Pages: 240 (hardcover)

Source: Publisher via NetGalley

Gabie drives a Mini Cooper. She also works part time as a delivery girl at Pete’s Pizza. One night, Kayla—another delivery girl—goes missing. To her horror, Gabie learns that the supposed kidnapper had asked if the girl in the Mini Cooper was working that night. Gabie can’t move beyond the fact that Kayla’s fate was really meant for her, and she becomes obsessed with finding Kayla. She teams up with Drew, who also works at Pete’s. Together, they set out to prove that Kayla isn’t dead—and to find her before she is.

I've been reading paranormal/zombie books almost continuously so I'm looking forward to reading a mystery!

What are you currently reading?  Do you find yourself reading the same genre over and over?
