Wicked Wildfire Read-a-Thon: Goals & Updates

I know, I know, I'm late, I'm late, for a very important date. It's the Wicked Wildfire Read-a-Thon, hosted by Kindle Fever and My Shelf Confessions!

Goals? Ah I'm going into this one pretty much as goalless as the Irish football team. I did a week long read-a-thon last week, and now my only priority is to get some of the books finished that I put on hold last week:

Gone by Michael Grant
Zomblog by T.W. Brown
The Drowned World by J.G. Ballard
Dearly, Departed by Lia Habel

Otherwise, it's just anything that comes along in the next four days!

I'll be adding my progress here at the end of each day, so stay tuned.

20/6/12
10% read of Zomblog (like 20 pages).
Must do better!

21/6/12
40% read of After the Virus by Megan Ciara Doidge (not even on my TBR)

22/6/12
Finished reading Gone by Michael Grant

If you're participating, leave me a link too :-D

  1. Yes! Dearly, Departed! I hope you like it. I can't wait to read Dearly, Beloved.

  2. I just read Ballard's High-Rise. The Drowned World is the one that put him on the map I gather.

    1. I have High Rise, but I haven't read it. I did read Concrete Island last year, but I think The Drowned World is one of his first books.

  3. I LOOOOVED Dearly, Departed! Not every book can make me fall in love with a zombie, that's for sure! Lol. Can't wait to hear what you think of them! :)

    Good luck & happy reading!!

  4. How many books are you typically reading in a week? What with my extremely busy schedule I am lucky to get in 1 per week and my TBR list is growing like a politician's nose.

    1. LOL - I usually read 3-4 books a week, mainly on commutes and sacrificing sleep on weekends.
