Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Book Romances That Could Make It

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by The Broke and The Bookish. I heart lists!

This week's Top Ten Tuesday is the Top Ten Book Romances That You Think Would Make It In the Real World

I'm not the biggest fan of book romances - but there are a few that I think have a real chance of 'making it', and surprisingly it was easy to find ten!

Noah and Echo from Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry

How could they NOT make it in real life after all they have been through together *sniffs*?!

Kira and Marcus from Partials by Dan Wells

One of the things I really liked about Partials was the 'realness' of their relationship - and the fact that it's established before the book begins.

Hadley and Oliver from The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E. Smith

Because they're cute - 'nuff said!

Alex and Darla from Ashfall by Mike Mullin

Yeah, if you make it through a super-volcano-induced-winter, you've already overcome a few hurdles!

Rhiannon and Will from After the Virus by Meghan Ciana Doidge

A more subtle romance, but Will's dedication to Rhiannon, and Rhiannon's dedication to Snickers makes me think that they'd be the perfect insta-family. In the middle of an Apocalypse to boot!

Mia and Aaron from New Coastal Times by Donna Callea

Another couple who are together before the book begins - Mia reminds me of myself, and Aaron of my long-suffering lucky boyfriend.

Tatiana and Alexander from The Bronze Horseman by Paullina Simons

If you can overcome THAT much crap just to be together, you aren't going to throw it away. Seriously.

Nora and Bram from Dearly, Departed by Lia Habel

OK, he's a zombie. And the zombiephile in me is kinda creeped out by that idea, but otherwise I love them both, and they're almost perfect together (apart from that whole undead thing *shudders*).

Flynn and Jennah from A Voice in the Distance by Tabitha Suzuma

Because I couldn't help falling in love with Flynn. Several times.

Jenny and Seth from Jenny Pox by J.L. Bryan

Because before Seth, Jenny was so alone. And he gave up everything for her!

So, anyone notice how much this became couples I WISH could make it in real life, other than couples I THINK could make it in real life? ;-)

What's your top pick for a book romance that could make it?

  1. I have only read one book on this list, Partials. Lol. So sad! I have Jenny Pox on my list of books I want to read. I suppose it would help to buy that book...

  4. Noah and Echo made my list too! I didn't know you typically participated in Top 10 Tuesday, but I'm always interested in what you've got to say.

Check out my TTT if you have time.

  5. Ooooohh, Dearly Departed. I really want to read that book, but I don't know if its any good. And also, it seems as if everyone has read Pushing The Limits. I must start on it soon!

  6. Ashfall is the only one of these I've read so far, and I really don't know how I forgot to put Darla & Alex on my list! Totally agree on your reasoning on that one! Now to read some more of your picks. :) Great list!

  7. Bahaha, I love how you shifted your list. You know what would be a great list? Ten couples that WON'T make it in real life or Ten couples that will break up immediately after the book ended.
