It's Monday! What Are You Reading? #26

It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a meme hosted by Book Journey and is a great way for others to find out what you are planning to read this week and, best of all, see what others are reading.

Could it be true - could my reading slump be over?!
Books read last week:
Lovely Green Eyes by Arnost Lustig
Breakfast of Champions by Kurt Vonnegut
Breathe by Sarah Crossan
Goodbye for Now by Laurie Frankel
Sundered by Shannon Mayer

What I'm Reading This Week:
Matched by Ally Condie
Flowertown by S.G. Redling
Tomorrow, When the War Began by John Marsden (audiobook)
Taking on the Dead by Annie Walls

What are you reading?  Anything here catch your eye?

  1. I haven't heard of any of the books you read last week, but well done for getting over your reading slump! I read Matched a long time ago and absolutely loved it! Hope you have another great reading week :)

  3. I'm reading My Super Sweet Sixteenth Century, it's cute so far :) Taking on the Dead looks pretty cool, I also read Matched, it was ok but not my favourite.
Yay for no more reading slump!

    1. Oh I've been eyeing off My Super Sweet Sixteenth Century, it sounds fun! Matched wasn't mind blowing, but I did enjoy it!

  4. I'm curious as to what you thought of BREATHE, Kat. I'm struggling with it. I like it well enough but nothing is just reaching out and grabbing me. I need to try to finish it tonight.

    1. Honestly, Breathe was such a disappointment :( I think my expectations were just far too high - I'll have a review up in a few weeks, but *sad face*

  5. So I haven't read any of the books on your list yet, Kat, but some of them certainly peak my interest. I've found that my TBR list just keeps getting larger and larger and it's hard to choose what exactly I'm in the mood for. I just finished Terminal Freeze by Lincoln Child (AMAZING!!) and The Maze Runner by James Dashner. I just started Mind Over Monsters by Jennifer Harlow yesterday.

    1. I blame book blogs for my giant TBR, LOL!

I've always wanted to read The Maze Runner - one day, I promise :-D

    2. Haha, I completely agree! My list was at least somewhat managable before blogging!

Check out The Maze Runner, but if you have other "priority" books, do those first. I enjoyed it but there was also stuff I liked better within that genre.

    3. Well when I say 'soon' it could be any time before 2020! Or maybe 2025....

  7. I finished reading Love's Debt by Rachel Brimble - such an amazing short historical read :)
Now I'm reading Shades of Blood by LM Pruitt from the Jude Magdalyn series. I highly recommend it!
