Showcase Sunday #8

Showcase Sunday is hosted by the fabulous Vicky of Books, Biscuits and Tea and it's all about sharing the books we've received in the last week - bought, begged or borrowed!

Once again, those one click purchases have accumulated without me realising!

Purchased
The Passage by Justin Cronin
Whispers in Autumn by Trisha Leigh
Boy's Life by Robert R. McCammon
Destroy Me by Tahereh Mafi

For review
Fever by Mary B. Keane (Scribner via Edelweiss)

Zomblog: Snoe by T.W. Brown (from the author)

And a couple of Kindle freebies (these may or may not still be free!)
Darkness Comes this Way by Pixie Lynn Whitfield
How Huge the Night by Heather Munn and Lydia Munn

Last Week:

I confessed my book blogger envy in Book Blogger Confessions, I revealed the cover of the 4th book in J.L. Bryan's The Paranormal series, Jenny Plague-Bringer and there's an awesome giveaway too!  Top Ten Tuesday was all about books that I hope don't get forgotten, and I participated in Waiting on Wednesday for the first time.  I also started a new feature this week - Audiobook Fridays.

I reviewed two books this week - Where She Went by Gayle Forman got a fantastic four and a half stars, and three stars for Orange is the New Black by Piper Harbison.

Coming up Next Week: Top Ten Tuesday and Waiting on Wednesday, the blog tour review (and giveaway!) for Taking on the Dead by Annie Walls, reviews of Matched by Ally Condie and Lovely Green Eyes by Arnost Lustig and for Audiobook Friday, my review of Gillian Flynn's Gone Girl.

What I'm Currently Reading
Taking on the Dead by Annie Walls - badass heroine and zombies, yeah!
This Perfect World by Suzanne Bugler (audiobook)
An Abundance of Katherines by John Green (because it has my name in the title!)

What did you get this week?  Link me up!

    1. Robert R. McCammon is one of my favourite horror writers (as shown by my obsessive love of Swan Song).

    1. I'm going to use it to tone my arms. With that weight, I'll be a body builder in a week - or my arms will fall off.
