Synopsis

When sheltered American good girl Allyson "LuLu" Healey first meets laid-back Dutch actor Willem De Ruiter at an underground performance of Twelfth Night in England, there’s an undeniable spark. After just one day together, that spark bursts into a flame, or so it seems to Allyson, until the following morning, when she wakes up after a whirlwind day in Paris to discover that Willem has left. Over the next year, Allyson embarks on a journey to come to terms with the narrow confines of her life, and through Shakespeare, travel, and a quest for her almost-true-love, to break free of those confines.

Why I'm Waiting

Honestly, if it wasn't by Gayle Forman, I probably wouldn't be desperately stalking this book. But I loved If I Stay and Where She Went so much, I can't wait to get my hot little hands on this one!

What are you waiting for this week?

  5. Yeah, I'm not sure about the blurb now that I glanced over it, but the reviews I have seen have been RAVE and I loved Forman's two previous books, so BRING. IT. ON.

I'm lucky enough to have the ARC of this waiting for me at home. *spins* I hope I get to it REALLY soon. MUST. READ. FASTER.

  9. I would still have this book on the wishlist, but I wouldn't be DYING over it like I am. Gayle Forman!!! If I Stay is the only book I will consistently re-read each year. I really don't know why, it's just something really familiar and short and has such a distinct writing style and I feel so connected to the characters now that I've read it so many times.
