Showcase Sunday is hosted by the fabulous Vicky at Books, Biscuits and Tea and is all about sharing our new books - beg, borrowed or bought.

Last Week
I gave four stars to Tommy Nightmare (The Paranormals #2) by J.L. Bryan and four stars to Want To Go Private? by Sarah Darer Littman, Top Ten Tuesday was New To Me Authors of 2012, I waited on a scary sounding book for Waiting on Wednesday and there's two new giveaways!  As well as my Blogoversary Giveaway, there's the End of the World Giveaway and December New Release Giveaway!

What I Read Recently
It's been a slow couple of weeks reading wise.  Roll on Christmas holidays when I can finally start making a dent in my TBR again!  I did finish Teeth by Hannah Moskowitz, A Street Cat Named Bob by James Bowen and Breakers by Edward W. Robertson.  I'm currently reading The Brief History of the Dead by Kevin Brockmeier, Plague by H.W. 'Buzz' Bernard and savouring Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen!

Other Bits and Pieces
I'm so surprised I made it this far in my post without mentioning it, but I've been blurbed!  Last year I read Rapture by Phillip W. Simpson, which was one of my favourite books of 2011, and I'm super-excited to read the next book.  Thanks Phill!

You can read my review of Rapture here, and Tribulation is next on my TBR!

Two awesome Australian bloggers, Claire Reads and The Girl in a Cafe are having a Dystopian December feature and they invited me to write a guest post on my Top Five Dystopian reads.  There's also awesome interviews with authors such Lauren Oliver, Lia Habel, Dan Wells, C.J. Redwine, Melissa Meyer, Sarah Crossan, Jay Kristoff and John Marsden (eeee!), giveaways and other blogger posts, so make sure to check it out!

Wow that was a long post!  What goodies did you get this week?  Link me up!

  1. No books for me this week (which is good seeing how my TBR piles are still a danger if there should be an earthquake)! Of course now I live vicariously through other folks' book hauls *lol*.

  16. Looks like a lot of books just sort of fell into your cart again! So weird how they keep doing that! What can you do, though? Putting them back would be rude.

I'll be curious to see what you think of The Becoming, as I have my eye on it. I'm reading Everneath right now, and I like it, so yay!

    HOLLA for Pride & Prejudice!

Many review things. GO, KAT, GO!
