Showcase Sunday #30

Showcase Sunday is hosted by the fabulous Vicky at Books, Biscuits and Tea and is all about sharing our new books - beg, borrowed or bought.

So, remember how last week I'd been restrained with my book hoarding accumulating addiction?  Yeah I kinda fell off the wagon quite spectacularly this week, but hey, it was fun!
I have no idea why my video is stretched, nor why I appear to have had an accident with a fake tan truck, it's probably because I uploaded with low-quality - d'oh!

  2. You mean after 5 months? I'm definitely over it. Two blizzards this week and the car broken down. I just can't take it anymore :( Fabulous haul this week, Kat! I'm actually looking forward to your reviews of Helen Keeble because I really want to read her books. Also excited about Not a Drop To Drink and Undercurrents.

Enjoy your books, cannibals and all! ;)))

  4. I quite like the sound of The Dinner, I just added it on Goodreads after watching this! I read Speak a long time ago, but I remember it being pretty powerful and one of those books you kind of finish all in one go without really realising you've done it. I am hoping the snow disappears... although I just looked out of my window, and it seems to have started again. EXCELLENT. Happy reading :)

  7. Sometimes the wagon exists only to fall off of! :-)
I'm just reading Fragments at the moment - really intriguing so far!

  8. Kat!!! So many books! Wow! Now I'm going to say everything quickly before I forget...

I am pretty excited about Twinmaker too. I have still not started with Delirium series. I have been wanting to read Me, Him, Them and It. I can't believe you haven't read Tuesdays with Morrie! Oh, you must, must. I really liked the cover of Tankborn. And how can foetus and eyes on the cover scare you, you read zombies all the time! Go Ask Alice looks really great. You have to read Laurie Halse Anderson, I read Chains and loved it. I didn't like Matched so I abandoned the series. And The Dinner looks good. Have a great reading ahead of you, I have so many books, I don't even know where to start with nowadays. How are you even going to decide? Pity!

  12. Wow definitely a big haul this week. I forgot that Don't Turn Around was a part of a series, so I'm going to have to remember that one when it comes out. We are getting a ton of rain and sometimes hail here...I'm so over the cold weather.

I hope you enjoy your new books!

  13. You got some great books this week! Wow! I really want to read the matched Series! I have the first one but I still haven't read them yet! Requiem, yay, I need to read it! I can't wait to see how it ended! :D Great book haul! I really hope you enjoy them all! :)

  14. I am soooo hoping I get approved for Not a Drop to Drink. You are so lucky to be auto-approved. Hopefully they get sick of me and stick me on it too. I must be one of the last ones! Aghhhh!

Yay! You bought Deck Z! I hope it's good because I still haven't read it. I am such a hoarder.

House of Leaves is kind of insane. I never actually finished it and it wasn't because it was bad, it was just so tedious. Parts of it were really, REALLY good though. Someday I will reattempt to finish it.
