Showcase Sunday #46 + Awesome Blogger Event Coming Up!

Showcase Sunday is hosted by the fabulous Vicky at Books, Biscuits and Tea and is all about sharing our new books - beg, borrowed or bought.

Eeeeeek it's a book avalanche!  The postman finally released my latest Amazon binge after holding it ransom for a week, and then Harper put up all their new books on Edelweiss.  Auto-approve is an amazing yet dangerous thing my friends - and I have NO self-control.

  1. Amazing books! Invisibility, Code Name Verity and My Soul to Take are all on my wishlist :) I didn't enjoy The Hit that much so I hope you feel differently!

  2. I love your covers for CNV & RUF

I was pretty good about not buying books. I did get a few at a signing but I have read them already so no reading pressure at least!

The picnic sounds like so much fun!

  3. Oh I hope your picnic (and I had to look up the spelling for this word) will be uber awesome, Kat! :))) Lovely book haul, my dear. I've been really tempted to request Cruel Beauty but then I backed away scared that I won't like it. YA fantasy books either hit or miss for me usually... Anyway, enjoy all and go get some sun!

    1. I wasn't completely blown away by The Madman's Daughter, but I'm hoping Her Dark Curiosity will pick up those dark moments and not be so triangle-y!

  9. Great haul, I totally agree with auto-approve, its great to have the option to get the books you want without having to wait, but then its easy to get click happy and end up with more books than you realise you had.

Thanks for stopping by my blog :D

  10. That auto-approval is a blessing and a curse...I loaded up with so many that now I'm wondering when I'm ever going to get to them!

Hope you enjoy Cruel Beauty - it's one I picked up that I'm definitely making a priority. It looks fabulous!

    Great haul!

  20. I feel like I am the only one not on Harper auto approve at this point and it sucks so hard. I did request Cruel Beauty and Great, and I am still waiting to hear back. I really hope you enjoy them! I'm trying to get better at commenting these days but I have been super swamped with editing and catching up on the blog and I am just trying to do my best. Bear with me! :D
