Showcase Sunday #48

Showcase Sunday is hosted by the fabulous Vicky at Books, Biscuits and Tea and is all about sharing our new books - beg, borrowed or bought.

The weather has been so amazing for the last week or so that I've pretty much abandoned my laptop for the sun.  I should be around a bit more this week considering it's now raining - boo!

Just three books this week, although at the rate I'm reading at the moment (again, distracted by the weather!), my TBR is still growing....

Keeping Her (Losing It #1.5) by Cora Carmack (thanks to William Morrow)
White Space (Dark Passages #1) by Ilsa J. Bick (thanks to Egmont USA)
The Thicket by Joe R. Lansdale (thanks to Mulholland Books)

How was your week?!

  1. Can you send me some of that rain, please? :D I seriously can't take this heat anymore.

I've been reading less too and the books keep on coming. (But hey, I'm not complaining :D)

Hope you have a great Sunday & enjoy your new books!

  3. I wouldn't mind some rain over here, better than the 40ºC than we had all week! Except that this weekend the weather has mellowed and it's now breezy and awesome!

The cover for White Space intrigues me, I'll have to look it up and see if I add to my TBR list!

  4. Haha, I knew that you, Kat, would definitely get new Ilsa J. Bick :))) I was tempted but decided to pass it. I know what you're saying about the sun. We had an enormous amount of barbeque feasts and stayed outside. :) Hope you enjoy all your reads!

    1. It kinda snuck up on me, even though I'm sure I heard of it somewhere. Or all the books are blending together in my head!

    1. I like the way The Thicket sounds when you say it out loud in a spooky voice (yep, I did it).

  13. I'm really curious about White Space...I'm not sure I've seen it before so I"m going to have to look into it. I could do with a bit of rain here, it's way too humid. It feels like trying to breath under water. I hope you enjoy your week and your books Kat!
