Life of a Blogger is a weekly feature hosted by Jessi at Novel Heartbeat, which is all about what us bloggers do when we aren't blogging.
I had to join in this week, because the first thing I thought when I saw the topic was camping is HELL. And NO. In that order, and in size-72-red-bold-underlined-italics.
I HATE camping. I tried it several times as a kid in my backyard and I'd always be back inside, in my own bed, before midnight (it did not help that on my last attempt I could hear Tasmanian Devils screaming in the bush near our tent). And for me it holds absolutely no appeal to get down, dirty and uncomfortable with nature.
I am a complete, unashamed holiday snob - I won't stay in cheap-and-cheerful hotels or *shudders* hostels, and the idea of backpacking makes me want to just curl up in my bed and stare lovingly at my whole wardrobe full of clothes and pet my washing machine lovingly. I will actually NOT take a holiday if I can't afford a luxury hotel. And I'm not ashamed of it either ;-)
